Please arrive 15 minutes before your lesson. You will complete a short registeration form. We will choose a wetsuit and surfboard for you. We have a huge array of wetsuits so don’t worry about that. We will explain how to put on the wetsuit.
Your lesson will take 2 hours. The first 20 mins or so is spent on the beach with the instructor. He/she will go through safety, your surfboard, leash, popping up, controlling your surfboard, and lots more.
You will then be taken into the water to practice catching waves, popping up and riding the waves to shore. Your instructor is in the water with you at all times and is on hand to answer any questions you may have.
We provide you with the surfboard and wetsuit for your lesson. Please bring a towel, swimwear to use under your wetsuit and a warm jacket for after surfing.
You will be part of a group, no more than 8 students per 1 instructor.
The lesson can be cancelled if the wind and sea conditions are not suitable. Our priority is your safety. We will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible in advance of cancellation. Unfortunately, we cannot control what Mother Nature throws at us!
We are located directly on the beach in Enninscrone beside the lifeguard station. Check out our map.
Your children will be supervised by our Irish Surfing approved instructors, all of whom have an up to date Beach Lifeguard Qualification. The school is Irish Surfing approved, and adheres to strict operating guidelines. If, due to weather conditions not been suitable, we will take the camp to Waterpoint where the instructors will supervised activities.
